In the rapidly growing field of electric ATVs, the LIVAQ EQUAD emerges as a new contender, boasting the title of the “most capable electric ATV ever.”

Michigan-based LIVAQ introduces its groundbreaking electric four-wheeler, challenging the predominantly ICE-controlled off-road industry. The Detroit-based manufacturer aims to revolutionize the sector with the unveiling of its all-new electric 4×2, the EQUAD.

The LIVAQ EQUAD achieves an impressive top speed of 67 mph (108 km/h) powered by dual 16 kW hub motors, showcasing high-performance capabilities, even surpassing typical off-road travel speeds.

Weighing in at 1,010 lb (458 kg), the EQUAD asserts an impressive 170-mile (273 km) range from its 15.4 kWh battery pack. This offers a full day of off-road excitement at typical ATV speeds, provided the battery claims hold true. Additionally, each vehicle is equipped with a home charger utilizing convenient and easy wireless charging technology.

The EQUAD features a four-link rear suspension and an agile independent front system for stable performance across various terrains. With a hydraulic brake system, it ensures precise control and effective stopping power on any landscape.

In a nod to environmental consciousness, the EQUAD’s body panels utilize “repurposed carbon fiber” instead of plastic. According to Medina, the goal is to capture the wild’s raw essence while incorporating contemporary design elements, inspired by the mountain lion’s balance of strength, poised stance, muscular silhouette, and agility in various terrains.

Opening for pre-orders this month, the EQUAD comes with an MSRP of US $28,600, and there are two pre-order discounts available for interested customers. For those making a non-refundable $1,000 deposit, a 30% discount is offered, reducing the price to US $19,989. Alternatively, with a refundable $100 deposit, riders can secure a 10% discount, bringing the price down to US $25,689.
