Dayun Group’s Yuanhang Auto unveils H8 electric SUV on Dec 28, offering five models priced from 349,800 to 559,800 yuan (49,200 to 78,800 USD). Features both rear-wheel and four-wheel drive options. H8 follows the Y6 sedan as Yuanhang’s second electric model.
Yuanhang H8, a spacious large SUV, boasts dimensions of 5230/2015/1760 mm, a 3126 mm wheelbase, and a comfortable 2+2+2 seat layout.
Yuanhang H8 models feature standard level 2 advanced driving capabilities, offering traffic jam assist, highway driving assist, lane change assist, lane center keeping, full-speed range adaptive control, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking.
Consumers can opt for single motor rear-wheel drive or dual motor four-wheel drive with a top speed of 210 km/h.

2. Battery options: 88.42 kWh (610 km range) and 100 kWh (700 km range)

The Yuanhang H8 supports fast charging, taking 30 minutes to charge from 20% to 80%. Additionally, it offers an optional external discharge function with a maximum discharge power of 3.3 kW.
In the interior, the Yuanhang H8 adopts a design similar to the Yuanhang Y6. The front cockpit features a leather-wrapped area, a flat-bottomed double-spoke multi-functional leather steering wheel, a 12.3-inch floating full LCD instrument, and a vertically oriented 17.38-inch central control screen. The central control screen comes equipped with a built-in AliOS smart cockpit system.
The Yuanhang H8 offers additional functional configurations, including an AR-HUD, a 27-speaker sound system, 256-color ambient lighting, a face recognition car entry system, voice recognition, and a digital rearview mirror.
Competing with electric SUVs like AITO M9, NIO ES8, and Audi Q5 e-tron in its price range, the Yuanhang H8 faces the challenge of limited brand awareness. Whether it can distinguish itself in the market remains to be seen.
