Kabira KM3000 and KM4000: Explore the Future of Electric Motorcycles in India

Kabira Mobility, a Goa-based electric vehicle startup, has announced the launch of two new electric motorcycles in India: the Kabira KM3000 and the Kabira KM4000. These bikes cater to the growing demand for electric vehicles and are designed to offer advanced technology, impressive specifications, and unique features. The Kabira KM3000 is priced at Rs 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Kabira KM4000 retails for Rs 1.76 lakh (ex-showroom).

The KM3000 features a fully-faired design for a sportier appearance, and the KM4000 boasts a street naked look. Both motorcycles share the same diamond steel tube frame and are available in various sub-variants equipped with either steel or aluminium alloy swingarms.

In terms of performance, the Kabira KM3000 and KM4000 are powered by an aluminium core Hub Motor developed in collaboration with Foxconn. Both models are expected to reach a top speed of 120 kmph and offer rapid acceleration, thanks to a maximum torque of 192 Nm. The bikes feature Dual CBS (Combined Braking System) and larger disc brakes for enhanced safety, while front telescopic forks by Showa and a mono-shock suspension at the rear ensure a stable and smooth ride.

The range of the Kabira KM3000 and KM4000 varies depending on the different variants. The standard and V variants are expected to deliver ranges of up to 178 km and 201 km, respectively, on a single charge. Both models come with modular battery packs and a 1.5kW charger. The bikes are equipped with 17-inch wheels and will be available for test rides at selected locations. The deliveries of the KM3000 and KM4000 motorcycles are set to commence in March 2024 through the Kabira Mobility dealership network.
