Tesla has increased the price of its new Model 3 Performance in the U.S. by $1,000, bringing the total cost to $53,990. This price hike comes just days after the model’s launch.
In addition to the Performance model price increase, Tesla has also lowered the price of two popular options:
White Interior Price Reduced by $500
The optional white interior for the Model 3 has been reduced in price by $500, now costing $1,500.
Black Exterior Paint Price Reduced by $500
Tesla has also lowered the price of the black exterior paint option by $500, making it $1,000 less expensive.
These price adjustments come as Tesla continues to refine the pricing and options for its refreshed Model 3 lineup. The Performance variant now sits closer in price to the Long Range AWD model, which could impact demand for the more expensive Performance version.
