Helixx Technologies is redefining the electric vehicle (EV) market in Southeast Asia with the recent launch of their new car and van subscription service. Offering brand-new EVs with insurance, maintenance, and interchangeable batteries starting at 0.25 per hour or 6.00 per day, Helixx ensures a seamless and cost-effective transport solution for customers.

An appealing aspect of the subscription service is the rapid replacement option, which allows for immediate exchange of damaged or broken-down vehicles, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. The affordability and convenience of this service is particularly appealing to businesses, helping reduce downtime and maintenance costs.

Helixx vehicles are equipped with interchangeable batteries, allowing commercial vehicles to accommodate up to six 2 kWh LFP (Lithium iron Phosphate) battery packs for a total capacity of 12 kWh. This feature helps users swiftly replace battery packs if the battery capacity is insufficient for a delivery run or cab shift, keeping their work running smoothly.

The automotive sector significantly contributes to the U.S. economy, generating $1 trillion in annual revenue and providing over 3% of the nation’s GDP. In smaller car-producing nations, the industry’s impact is even more pronounced, with countries such as France relying on the automotive sector for more than a third of their GDP.

In related news, Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, revealed that the company is developing a robotaxi, set to debut in August 2024. This self-driving vehicle aims to compete with top autonomous vehicle services in North America, including Waymo (owned by Google) and Cruise (owned by General Motors). With the rapid growth and increasing competition in the EV market, consumers and businesses alike can look forward to exciting new developments in this industry.
