Motovolt Hits Record 780 EV Sales in a Month, Climbs to 13th on VAHAN Rankings Blog · Apr 30, 2026

Motovolt has achieved its highest-ever monthly electric vehicle deployment, registering 780 EVs in March 2026, a milestone that has propelled the company to 13th position on the VAHAN portal among EV OEMs in India.

The milestone was highlighted by Arham Khan, Deputy Manager – B2B Sales & Fleet Partnerships at Motovolt, who described the achievement as a strong reflection of rising confidence from logistics and enterprise partners in the company’s fleet mobility solutions.

“This 780-EV month is not just a number; it reflects the trust our B2B partners are placing in Motovolt to power their last-mile logistics with reliable, cost-effective electric vehicles,” said Arham Khan.

The achievement marks an important step for Motovolt as it accelerates expansion in India’s last-mile delivery and commercial EV fleet segment, an area witnessing rapid electrification due to rising fuel costs and sustainability goals.

Motovolt Strengthens Its Position in Last-Mile EV Logistics

The 780-unit monthly deployment is Motovolt’s strongest performance to date and highlights growing demand for the company’s purpose-built commercial electric scooters such as the M7, MVS7, and MV Express, designed specifically for logistics and enterprise fleet operations.

With this growth, Motovolt has climbed to 13th on the government-backed VAHAN registration portal, improving from earlier rankings and signaling stronger registration momentum in the B2B EV space.

The company now has a connected fleet of over 2,500 electric two-wheelers, which have collectively covered more than 17.6 million kilometers since 2024, underlining the operational reliability of its electric fleet ecosystem.

Only Eastern India OEM in Top 15 VAHAN Rankings

Motovolt’s rise is particularly significant because it is currently the only EV OEM from Eastern India to reach the top 15 on VAHAN, reflecting the company’s ambition to become a nationally recognized player in electric commercial mobility.

The company has also expanded its footprint across major logistics hubs including Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai, while strengthening operational efficiency through battery-swapping partnerships, including collaborations with Indofast Energy, helping fleet operators reduce downtime and improve utilization.

This ecosystem-led growth strategy is helping Motovolt position itself as a scalable partner for enterprise customers looking for lower total cost of ownership, telematics-enabled operations, and zero tailpipe emissions.

A Sign of India’s Accelerating Commercial EV Adoption

Motovolt’s record month reflects a broader shift in India’s logistics sector, where companies are increasingly adopting EV fleets for cost savings, predictable operations, and sustainability compliance.

“The 13th-rank position on VAHAN and our highest-ever monthly sales are proof that the journey has just begun; Motovolt is here not only to scale volumes, but to build long-term partnerships with logistics and enterprise customers,” Arham Khan added.

As India’s commercial EV market continues to expand, Motovolt’s momentum in fleet deployment suggests it is emerging as one of the important players driving EV adoption in last-mile logistics.
