After Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapour, the updated Atto 3 model has now been launched in Japan.

BYD Japan recently announced a new color option for the BYD Atto 3 on their X page, which is now available in “cosmos black.” This comes as the company’s EVs have already gained popularity in Malaysia, with the BYD Seal receiving 800 bookings within just two days of its launch.

In a 30-second video, BYD Japan showcases the updated features of the BYD Atto 3, which is now available in a new cosmos black color. The video features several drone flyover shots of the car, highlighting its updated exterior and interior features.

For the right-hand-drive model headed to Japan, several key changes have been made to the exterior, including a new black paint color, rear fish scale pattern panels in black (previously silver), and a new rear “BYD” badge (previously “Build Your Dreams”).

The new exterior features of the BYD Atto 3 have been well-received in Japan, where the car has already gained popularity. The car’s competitive pricing and focus on battery safety have made it an attractive option for customers looking for affordable and safe EVs.

As BYD continues to expand its presence in various markets, it is using Korea as a test bed to increase brand awareness before entering larger markets such as the United States and Europe.
