Review: JackRabbit XG Electric Bike

JackRabbit XG

JackRabbit XG

The JackRabbit XG is a compact electric motorbike that’s turning heads (and generating smiles) thanks to its unique design and punchy performance. But before you jump on and zoom off, let’s delve into its strengths and weaknesses to see if it’s the right ride for you.

Weighing in at just 32 lbs, the XG is incredibly portable and can easily fit into any-sized car, camper, RV, or trailer. The bike’s frame can even fold flat to just 7 inches wide, making it a perfect option for those who love to travel or explore off the beaten path.

The XG boasts an impressive 20 mph top speed, thanks to its 500W motor and dual 36V 4.2Ah batteries. The swappable battery slots provide a range of over 20 miles, and I found that I could easily swap out the batteries in just a few seconds.

One of my favorite features of the XG is its 20-inch all-terrain tires, which provided excellent traction and stability on various terrains. Whether I was riding on pavement, dirt, or gravel, the XG handled beautifully and felt incredibly stable.

The bike is also incredibly quiet, making it perfect for those who want to enjoy the great outdoors without disturbing the peace and quiet. The multi-function backlit display is easy to read, even in direct sunlight, and the thumb-activated variable speed control made it easy to adjust my speed on the fly.

The XG comes with forged aluminum polished silver moto-style footpegs, and it ships fully assembled with a charger. Additionally, it comes with a one-year warranty and free shipping on orders over $500.
